I am a fourth year Ph.D. student at the department of Statistics at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to this I earned my Bachelors and Masters degree in Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. 

I work with Prof. Ji Zhu and Prof. Naisyin Wang. My main research interest lies in statistical machine learning both in methodology as well as in applications. Currently I'm working on topics related to multivariate regression and dimension reduction.

Outside of statistics I'm big sports enthusiast. I enjoy playing and watching soccer, cricket, tennis, badminton, table tennis and so on. In my free time I like to watch movies, read fiction, and travel more about these somewhere esle.
